Art 2 mix media project

First I started  with the idea to have some lord of the rings stuff to be in my collage,  then I began by making the black tissue paper back round and gluing on the dead city with the gel on top of that then I had the idea of putting the ghost king in there as well. Once that was done I said to myself a king is not a king without his sword so I came up with a design for one that in my opinion fits being called the ghost kings sword. I faced several challenges while I was doing my project at first I had began a project before that I later realized had no connection with the criteria for the project, my project turned out pretty well but it could have been better.

Practice mix media project

I had a lot of ideas for my project ultimately I had picked the flames climbing Towards a city, put they are not normal flames they are flames that consume everything. I tried to get there to be a black background so that  it to contrast well but I had used the gesso instead of the gel it did not go well. I tried to fix it. The more I tried I realized It was not going to work out. At least I presented my idea in the pencil draft drawing and it was clear.

Clay project art 2

First I had to choose between doing curry or pizza, I chose pepperoni pizza I then had the idea to do bread sticks first I began with a triangular piece of clay then I folded the end part into the crust then I flattened some more  it a bit to make it a thin crust pizza and I then smoothed it. I then started to make a cylinder out of clay I then cut the pepperoni slices out of it. I then scored and slipped the pepperoni pieces on to my first piece of pizza and smoothed them in. I then got a piece of clay and shaped it into a 3D rectangle and then I smoothed and shaped and smoothed it some more, I came bake to it later and my bread stick had come apart I then decided to make it two half and I dotted them up to make them look like a bread stick. Then I had to make breathing holes for the air to come out of the clay. After that was done I went and did further shaping on the pizza to make it look like actual pizza I then decided to do another piece I did the same process over again with the second piece of pizza, the crust ended up having a better shape to it than the first piece. I continued to make then look like actual pizza slices and it worked out pretty well. Then I began with the coloring of my food items. First I went and but the auburn, brownish coloring on the surface of them with my paint brush, I then had to wait for them to dry after they were I began with the crust color I faced problems with getting the right brown color for it to look good and I faced problem with the yellow having green in it somehow it was really hard to try and fix it. All in all I did pretty well with getting through my large amount of issues that were one right after the other.

First I started out with choosing that photo of the Dragon from world of war craft then I started my sketch, it did not start out very original so I changed it around and I made my own version, when I was finished  with that I decided to do only a small section of its scales as my project I started out by drawing that box around the outside as a border then I began with the section and the scales. I faced some problems such as being in the process of shading and having to redo some outlining then I outlined it in a torquise blue and I think it turned out pretty well the scales were gray anyway, I then decided to make the scales colored and add contrasting colors in there and make it look finished. It did not work out. I decided to just have it be a dragon head.

Art 2 project 3

First with the peppermint I began by studying the look of it then I began to make a draft and I tried to make it as best I could but there was some issues with getting the stripes right. Then after I was done with that I began with the final is chalk pastels it was tricky, since I hadn't used them much but I did it. With the dum dum lolly pop I first did a practice sketch , when that was over I began with the final in pencil and colored pencils and I tried to make the best i could then I realized that I could make it look better if I just added more detail with my pencil and I think the final product looks pretty good. With the jolly rancher I first did my practice in pencil and oil pastels then when I was finished I then began on my final on the black paper I faced blending issues and trying to make crinkle's in the wrapper but I think the final was pretty good with the blue, yellow and green and gray in it, it's a good drawing over all.

Art 2 project 2 painting

First I started by looking up the art that my artist and I used one his of subject matters as a basis for my project I chose a jungle scene. First I began by brainstorming on how it would look by completing  the thumbnails and then I traced the design I picked onto the canvas and then labeled the things in the picture the color I wanted them to be and then I began to paint I had several challenges to get though while I was painting this like a color that was not the shade I wanted to put on a certain area, and then having to fix it by getting the right color on the area. And I think my painting turned out okay.
